The event has been completed now, and thanks must go to all the organisers, officials and marshals, as well as the residents we passed during the event.

The event was sponsored for the second time by the fabulous Bevan Blacker Blacker Automotive

The NY500 Café did a fantastic job of hosting the event supplying suppers and breakfasts for lots of very hungry mouths!

Many, many congratulations to Tom & Sam Spencer for taking the win – I know it was a dream come true for Tom, and to be fair the event is only back because he badgered us into doing it! 16 years ago the pair marshalled above Hutton-le-Hole on the Ryemoor – Steve Retchless was car No1 that night, and a year later they did their first Ryemoor – in this same car – which Sam bought, aged 16! Sam won it with Darren Moon last year, but to win it together was always the aim and the dream! All good things come to those who wait!
