The night was a great success with over 70 people in attendance, as always the catering at the Kirbymoorside Golf Club was superb.

After the meal and a few drinks the serious business of the evening began, with 17 of the awards being presented on the night, the remaining awards will get handed out when practical.

Awards and winners

The first awards were for the 12 car championship,

The Fred Davidson Cup and tankard went to the 1st Beginner and was awarded to Adam Burkill
The Plug Pulleyn Cup and tankard went to the 1st Beginner Navigator and was awarded to Toby Hobbs
2nd beginner driver tankard was presented to Charlie Mathewson
2nd beginner navigator tankard was presented to Harry Walshaw
3rd beginner driver tankard was presented to Lyne Price
3rd beginner navigator tankard was presented to Ash Smith

The Robert Pegg Cup and tankard went to the 1st novice and was presented to Kevin Bardon
The Kestrel Cup and tankard went to the 1st novice navigator and was presented to Phil Bramma
2nd novice driver tankard was presented to Paul Walton
2nd novice navigator tankard was presented to Adam Blacker
3rd novice driver tankard was presented to David Wainwright
3rd novice navigator tankard was presented to John Tubman

The Pyramid Cup and tankard went to the 1st expert and was presented to John Bird
The Green Man Cup and tankard went to the 1st expert navigator and was presented to Sam Spencer
2nd expert driver tankard was presented to Bob Taylor
2nd expert navigator tankard was presented to Simon Bentley
3rd expert driver tankard was presented to Neil Raven
3rd expert navigator tankard was presented to Nick Scaife

Discretionary Awards were awarded next;

The Saver Spares Cup was presented to Matthew Stroud as the best newcomer driver
The Ryedale Trophy was presented to Charlotte McGlashian as the best newcomer navigator
The hand made Vince Chapman Bent car award was presented to Dan Mennell
The In Appreciation Shield was presented to Peter Rowntree and Rose Reyner
The Masser Gleeson Sportsmanship Award was presented to Steve Bannister
The Chris Chapman Rose Bowl Exceptional Club Person award was presented to Tom Spencer
The Kirby Misperton Marshal of the Year award was presented to Jo Wilkinson
