Wow, did that really just happen last night? Many, many congratulations to Tom & Sam Spencer for taking the win last night – I know it was a dream come true for Tom, and to be fair the event is only back because he badgered us into doing it! 16 years ago the pair marshalled above Hutton-le-Hole on the Ryemoor – Steve Retchless was car No1 that night, and a year later they did their first Ryemoor – in this same car – which Sam bought, aged 16! Sam won it with Darren Moon last year, but to win it together was always the aim and the dream! All good things come to those who wait!

Malton Motor Club were holding the Ryemoor Rally, on World women’s day and were thrilled to have such a strong entry from women competitors, both drivers and navigators, probably one of the highest women’s entries!
Unfortunately all the women marshalling were not available at the drivers briefing to join the photos.
